June Ella Nunan(Wendt)was born in Beerburrum Queensland in 1928. She spent her early years in Landsborough, married Kevin and raised six children while managing hotels throughout Queensland. This blog is dedicated to her grandchildren and great grandchildren who have enjoyed many of nana's special recipes always served with lots of love!

Val's Fruit Cake
Val was employed by mum and dad at the Ship Inn hotel. She was my nanny. Although I don't remember a lot, Val has stayed in contact with our family for over 40 years.
